Minister's Message
Jesus is God. Jesus being divine is one of John's main points in his Gospel. Having said that, it should not surprise us that Jesus has the power and authority to drive demons away from us. Since we are not God, we must rely upon Jesus to provide protection for us against the wiles of the Devil. This week we will be looking at Jesus' ability to control demonic forces from Mark 1: 21-28. As a Christian, we cannot use the excuse that the Devil made us sin. The Devil has to ask permission(of God) to sift us(believers). He can tempt us, but he cannot force us to sin. That may be an encouraging message or a convicting one. Which is it?
We will talk more about this on Sunday. Come check us out this coming Sunday. You will be glad that you did! Give our office a call if you need more information or if you have a question at 575-763-3517.
